As members of the Board, we must first hold ourselves to the highest standards and reach for the loftiest goals as part of our role in governing. Each and every individual member of the Governance Team is committed to making this Quality Board Award a priority. Our hope is that the community we represent will see this recognition as a sign of our commitment to our students, our employees, and the entire Bryan County community,” said Mrs. Amy Murphy, Chairman of the Bryan County School Board.

The GSBA Governance Team Recognition Program was developed by Georgia superintendents and board members based on the state board of education’s standards for effective governance.
