Computer instruction is an important part of the education of the 2nd and 3rd grade students at RHES. We have two technology labs with 28 networked computers as well as several Chrome carts with 27+ Chromebooks each. Students visit technology class on a weekly basis to work on a variety of technology activities. Google Apps, Flipgrid, Typing Club, and Nearpod are just a few of the applications used by students. A focus on being responsible digital citizens is emphasized throughout technology classes. RHES has a certified teacher who serves as the Instructional Technology Specialist for the school.
Our classrooms each have 5 networked computers, an LCD projector, REDCAT audio enhancement system, printer, Elmo document camera, Mimio XI whiteboard device, Mimio Pad, and CPS Student Response system.
