The Bryan County Health Department is offering free vision, hearing, dental, and nutrition screening for Bryan County school students.
The services normally cost $30.
It is available by appointment only, Monday, August 17th, at the health department in Pembroke at 430 Ledford St., and Wednesday, August 19th, at the health department in Richmond Hill at 66 Captain Matthew Freeman Drive
Appointments can be scheduled by calling the Bryan County Health Department in Pembroke at 912-653-4331 or in Richmond Hill at 912-756-2611.
Although the start of school may look a little different this year, students entering a Georgia school for the first time – no matter what the grade level – must have a completed Certificate of Vision, Hearing, Dental, and Nutrition screening form. “First time” means never enrolled in a Georgia school before at any time in their lives.
Immunization services will also be available at regular cost.
